Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan, opened the Development Planning Forum (Musrenbang) for City Working Plan (RKPD) 2023 virtually, on Thursday (4/14).

"To strengthen the transformation of Jakarta, there needs to be a Jakarta development plan that is directed at infrastructure development, either it is hard or soft infrastructure, to support Jakarta in playing its role as a global city and a central node of activities in the region and the world," he expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Thursday (4/14).

a. Reduction of Inequality through the fulfillment of basic needs and social protection guarantees
b. Improving the Quality, Accessibility, and Ease of Community Services
c. Reducing Inequality through Gender-Responsive Development
d. Equitable Educational Opportunities for All and Education Regarding Lifelong Learning
e. Improving Quality and Life Expectancy through Improvement of Urban Health
f. Economic Growth and Business Sector based on Experience and Added Value
g. Acceleration of Digital Transformation and Development of Smart City Management
h. Increasing Opportunity, Empowerment, and Adaptation of Manpower
i. Urban Economic Recovery and Implementation of Low Carbon Development
j. Development of Quality Basic Urban Infrastructure and Services
"As a global city, Jakarta must also facilitate equitable economic growth for all economic actors and reform the bureaucracy. Then also become a tough city in facing challenges, both natural disasters such as disasters due to global climate change and non-natural disasters such as pandemics that we have all faced until now," he added.
He went on to say that collaboration from various stakeholders in Jakarta was also needed, including the Central Government. Here are some of the support needed from the Central Government:
a. Normalization and improvement of river flow capacity in the cross-provincial river basin (WS), the Ciliwung-Cisadane WS in the form of the Ciliwung Watershed (DAS)
b. Construction and improvement of sea walls, breakwaters, and other coastal protection structures in the North Coastal Area
c. Upstream-downstream master plan so that flood control can be integrated, effective, efficient, and sustainable
d. Construction of SPAM Jatiluhur I and Serpong-Karian in Downstream Jakarta
e. Construction of Jakarta Sewerage System for Waste Treatment Jakarta
f. Construction of Low-cost apartments for Low-Income Communities (MBR) (Yos Sudarso, Muara Angke, and Cipinang Besar Selatan)
g. Construction of MRT Jakarta North-South Phase 2 (Bundaran HI - Kota - West Ancol)
h. Construction of the train station in the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) area
"It is expected to be a stimulus to accelerate the transformation of Jakarta as we all aspire to," he hoped.
Through today's Musrenbang, it was expected to produce ideas that have a high level of usefulness for Jakarta and its residents in the future.
